G12-400 Universal Tethered Power System
G12-400 · 400 W constant-stabilized tethered power for drones with a maximum take-off weight of 1-2KN The onboard module replaces the drone’s flight battery and feeds regulated HV DC from the ground — 24 h+ on station with the original pack held as an untouched reserve. Universal fit means one ground unit powers any brand in the rated MTOW range.
How the G12-400 keeps power flowing
Ground power
Mains, generator or portable power station — 190–240 VAC single-phase in.
Ground station
G12-400 tether box: AC/DC converter, motorized winch, comms, cooling and control in one case.
High-voltage tether
600–850 VDC (default 850) over a lightweight cable, 33 m or 55 m, auto-retracting.
Airborne module
200 g module in the battery bays steps voltage down to a regulated output.
Drone + payloads
1–2 kg-class drones — camera, light, speaker, drop or relay, fed continuously.
Ground station — G12-400 tether box
One wheeled case holds everything: the AC/DC converter turns the site supply into 600–850 VDC (default 850) at rated 1,200 W (1,500 W peak), the servo-driven winch pays out and retrieves cable automatically (cable tension 0–10 N, retract 0–3 m/s), and the integrated display, Bluetooth and Type-C links expose live voltage, current, cable length and fault logs to the station screen, a handheld terminal or a PC client. Cooling, cable-break detection and power-fail auto-retract are built in.
Airborne module — battery-bay swap
The 200 g module mounts on reserved threaded holes with the airframe’s own fixings — no brackets, no rewiring. It converts the high-voltage tether input to 16.5 V or 25 V DC, rated 400 W (500 W peak) via XT30×2, feeding the aircraft and payload ports directly, so onboard packs stay above 90% as a cold backup throughout the flight. Input and output connectors are keyed and waterproof; the module reports its own status to the ground station over the same cable.
