DJI Matrice 350 RTK Tethered Power System

The G35-M350 kit turns the workhorse of industrial drones — the Matrice 300 RTK and 350 RTK — into a 24 h+ continuous-flight platform. A tool-free airborne module (500 g) replaces the flight battery and receives regulated high-voltage DC from the 3.5 kW ground unit, giving mapping, inspection and payload crews unlimited endurance. If ground power is cut the drone flies and lands normally while the cable auto-retracts; cable break, disconnect or short-circuit trigger instant HV cutoff.

Ground station — G35-M350

The G35-M350 integrates a 3,500 W AC/DC converter, servo-driven winch, communication module, cooling system and control management in a 9.5 kg tether box. Cable speed and tension adapt automatically through take-off and landing, and the station display, handheld terminal or PC client shows live voltage, current, cable length, runtime and fault logs. Over/under-voltage, over-current, over-temp and short-circuit protection with auto-recovery, plus power-loss, over-unspool and cable-break safeguards, are standard.

Airborne module — 500 g battery-bay swap

The 500 g module swaps into the Matrice 300 RTK / 350 RTK battery bay with the same quick-release interface — tool-free, no drone modification. It converts the high-voltage tether input to a constant 50.5 V output rated 3,000 W that feeds the aircraft and payload ports directly, holding onboard packs above 90% as a cold backup throughout the flight. IP54 housing; module status reports to the ground station over the same cable.

Do I need a generator, and which one?
The ground unit runs on standard single-phase 220 V AC (G300 series: three-phase 380 V AC). For field operations without grid access, pair it with the 4.2 kW portable generator matched to the system in the manual (peak 4.5 kW, 8 L tank) (priced separately above).
What does the kit price include, and what is the MOQ?
each configuration (55 m or 110 m) includes the ground power unit, airborne module, tether cable and custom-foam carry case. MOQ is 1 set; final quotation may vary with quantity. Payloads and the generator are optional add-ons priced separately.
Which cable length should I choose?
Longer cables reach higher altitudes at a small output-power cost. Shorter lengths suit most urban and inspection tasks, while the longest spans serve high-rise, bridge and heavy-lift scenarios. Custom lengths are available on request.
What happens if ground power is cut?
The drone keeps flying and lands normally on its own battery, and the tether auto-retracts so the cable never fouls the landing spot. Cable break, short-circuit and disconnection trigger HV cutoff protection.
Can the payloads be used together?
Yes. the 1200 W searchlight and the PA speaker share the same quick-mount interface; the matched 4.2 kW generator pairs with the ground unit for off-grid missions.
What about certification, shipping and warranty?
Tethered systems ship with CE documentation; batteries follow UN38.3 transport rules. Standard warranty is 12 months with lifetime technical support and spare-part supply. Final certificates are provided with each shipment.
